These sheer scarves are made from recycled sarees. Most are 100% polyester and thin enough to be used year round. They vary slightly from picture. Each saree can make 3 scarves from different pieces of the saree- keeping the color scheme the same but the prints slightly different. Materials also vary. Sarees has can be sheer, like satin or silk. Some sarees include sequin or embroidery work.
We have included pictures of 2 of each color so you can see how the variations are- very similar, but the prints and colors fall in different places on each scarf.
The scarves are 75" long circles and 24"- 30"wide.

Our saree baskets are a traditional design that several of our women know how to make. Saree fabric is cut into strips and wrapped around straw before it is tightened together with white cotton thread. These baskets are strong and will last a long time. They will certainly be a focal point wherever you place them. They will also be a conversation piece as you share about families in India that are living better quality lives through the basket you use.
The basket is 5.5" at it's widest point and 3" at the base.
This basket is made from a saree with orange, red and white. It is as pictured.
