per item

This garland is made of handmade beads, rolled from fabric scraps, sourced from local tailors.

The fabric beads are separated by white plastic beads and each garland is 15' long.

These are beautiful on a Christmas tree and match our colorful Recycled Fabric Tree Skirts. They can also be hung up or put into a mason jar with lights. They will add color and creativity to any space you decide to use them in.

How much garland do I need?

We recommend you decorate your tree with one (15') strand of garland per 2 feet of tree. So, for example, if you had a 6 foot tree, you would need 3 strands of 15' foot garland.

Upcycled Saree Tree Skirt

$125.00

This tree skirt is made from hundreds, possibly thousands, of small saree fabric scraps sourced from a local tailor. The scraps are folded and individually sewn into the tree skirt. After assembling the skirt using a sewing machine each piece of fabric is individually sewn into place by hand, to keep it all in place. It has 2 fabric tie closures. This is made of 100% recycled materials.

These tree skirts come in two sizes and two design choices.

These tree skirts were designed and made by Kavita and Anita. Kavita makes the pointed design while Anita makes the rounded one. These works of art take a month for each woman to make. Kavita is a widow and supports her college age daughter through sales. Anita pays for her 3 children's school fees.

Anita and Kavita have worked year-round to keep these in stock. Thank you for helping them see the value in thier work.
