These are knitted by two widows in our group, Sunhala and Pooja. Saree Baby Blanket
These baby quilts are made from beautiful sarees. The sarees have been chosen with babies in mind to create a beautiful handmade baby blanket they will cherish for years to come.
The saree has been hand quilted with multiple layers of fabric to create thickness. They are hand quilted using the traditional kantha technique, which is a running stitch with thick cotton thread.
The quilts are 45"x 45", a generous size for a baby blanket. The blankets are machine washable but we recommend line drying them.
You can support families as you buy your next baby shower gift.
